About Greek

Greek follows a group of college students with specific focus on life in the Greek system. At the fictional Cyprus-Rhodes University, the students we meet are introduced through relationships created by the two main characters: Casey and Rusty Cartwright. Non-Greek characters and situations are sewn into the various storylines of the series, however all relationships are somehow connected to the Greek life. Greek attempts to show all aspects of college life, focusing on the idea of family.

The show is filmed primarily in Los Angeles, California. Campus scenes are filmed on location at the UCLA Campus and the California Institute of Technology. Greek has also been filmed at the University of North Carolina and aerial footage has been used of Stanford University. The exterior and some interior shots of Cyprus are filmed in the historic West Adams District within Los Angeles.

Greek airs in chapters instead of seasons, with the first season comprising the first and second chapters. Season two includes chapters three and four, and the third season begins with chapter five. Each chapter contains 10-12 episodes. You are currently able to own Chapters 1-3 on DVD. For more information about the DVDs and their features, please click here.
